How this estimate works
This calculator follows the supplied workbook: shed space = capacity × 6 m² per kWp; RCC space = capacity × 10 m² per kWp; monthly generation = capacity × average daily generation × 30 days; monthly savings = monthly generation × your tariff.
This assumes all generated energy offsets electricity at the entered tariff. It excludes O&M, financing, taxes, degradation and export restrictions. Actual usable area, output and savings require an engineering and commercial assessment.
